Our Goal
Access to quality dance instruction should be a universal right for kids, yet barriers lurk even within studio walls. While tuition fees and costume costs can be substantial hurdles, other, less obvious obstacles contribute to an uneven playing field. For one, the availability of affordable, convenient studio spaces in underserved communities creates an access gap. Transportation for out-of-town competitions and intensive workshops adds another layer of financial strain. This can leave talented young dancers on the sidelines, their dreams stunted by factors beyond their control.
At P.O.M Squad, we’re forging a creative and inspiring dance community that fosters creativity, teamwork, confidence, and, most importantly, access in Montgomery County. We are passionate about sharing the joy of dance and supporting our dancers' development in the arts. To do so, we rely on the generosity of sponsors to assist us in covering the yearly costs.
