We encourage all parents and guardians to read our program policies before registering for any programs at P.O.M. Squad.
Enrollment Policies & Guidelines:
Payment must be received at the time of enrollment to secure your child’s place for each 8-week session.
We accept credit-cards, cash and checks.
Returned Check Policy: There is a $25 return check fee on all checks.
Refund Policy: Refunds require a written request. All refunds will be subject to a 15% admin fee plus the cost of any classes that have taken place before the request has been submitted. No refunds or credits are granted for absences, inclement weather (when we are open), withdrawals or dismissals.
Installment Policy: Invoices will be sent on the 1st of every month. It’s the responsibility of the parent to login to their ActivityHero account and pay by the indicated date on their invoice. Any payment received after the deadline is subject to 10% of your balance late fee. If we don’t receive payment in a timely manner, your child will either no longer be able to attend class, will not receive any costumes/poms, or will not be permitted to perform.
Late PickUp Policy: Parents will be assessed a $10.00 charge if a child is picked up more than 10 minutes late after a class or camp and an additional $1.00 per minute thereafter. Our instructors have other teaching gigs and commitments to attend to, so your timely arrival is much appreciated.
P.O.M. Squad follows Montgomery County Public Schools for inclement weather closings. We will make every effort to try and reschedule any missed classes. There are no refunds or credits if a customer chooses not to attend class due to weather when P.O.M. Squad is still open. If a make up class is provided for a canceled class that does not work in a customer’s schedule, there are no refunds or credits provided. All weather related delays or cancellations are posted to our social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter & Instagram) and also posted on our website’s Homepage.
Dancer Behavioral Guidelines:
P.O.M. Squad reserves the right to dismiss any dancer, without reimbursement of payment, that is unable to adhere to any announced safety rules or is disruptive in any other way. Participants are asked to keep their hands and bodies to themselves. Unwelcome teasing, horseplay, pushing, kicking, hitting, fighting, bullying or harassment may be grounds for removal.
First Offense – dancer will be removed from the current activity and phone call home to parents.
Second Offense – dancer will not be allowed to return for the session they are currently enrolled (no refunds).
